Eslabon Armado is an American regional Mexican group from Patterson, California, that became a prominent name in the sierreño style.

Origins

Formed in 2017, the group originally featured Pedro Tovar, Brian Tovar on bass and Jesse Vargas, with later lineup changes as members came and went.

Their music is sierreño, an acoustic, guitar-and-bass-driven branch of regional Mexican music known for its intimate, romantic feel.

As part of a young wave of California-based regional Mexican acts, they helped bring the sierreño sound to a broad new audience.
