Chabuca Granda was a Peruvian singer and composer whose Criollo waltzes became cornerstones of her country's songbook. She is one of Peru's most revered artists.

Active from around 1950, Granda created and performed a vast number of Criollo waltzes infused with Afro-Peruvian rhythm.
