Franco de Vita is a Venezuelan Latin Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and a major figure in Spanish-language romantic ballads.

His debut solo album produced three Spanish-language hits in Venezuela; he signed with CBS Records in 1989, and his 1990 album Extranjero yielded a U.S. Latin chart No. 1 and an MTV Video Music Award.
