Diomedes Díaz
Diomedes Díaz was a Colombian vallenato singer and composer known as the King of Vallenato and nicknamed El Cacique de La Junta.

Active from the mid-1970s until his death in 2013, he became the defining figure of the vallenato genre in Colombia. His nickname, honoring his birthplace, was given to him by fellow singer Rafael Orozco Maestre.
